Join the DancingDragons Livestream: We’re Seeking a New Co-Host
DancingDragons.cc is growing fast, and with that momentum comes an exciting opportunity: we’re adding a third co-host to our weekly Monday livestream. If you love evolutionary psychology, enjoy explaining science with humor, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced on-camera environment, this role might be the perfect fit.
Why We’re Expanding the Show
Our livestream blends evolutionary biology, behavioral science, and comedy—a combination that has resonated strongly with viewers across multiple platforms. As our audience increases, so does the demand for deeper discussions, fresh perspectives, and more engaging on-air chemistry. Bringing in a third co-host lets us develop richer conversations and more diverse analysis while scaling the show’s production value.
What Makes This Role Unique
Unlike standard academic or media roles, this position sits at the intersection of expertise and entertainment. You’ll break down scientific concepts in real time, keep the energy high, and respond quickly to audience questions, reactions, and surprises. The format is unscripted, conversational, and sometimes hilarious—perfect for someone who can switch between rigorous explanation and comedic riffing without losing momentum.
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone with both credibility and charisma. Ideal candidates bring an MS or PhD in biology, psychology, or a closely related field, with a solid grounding in evolutionary psychology and human behavior. A confident on-camera presence is essential, as is the ability to improvise and carry a conversation with ease.
Personality types such as ENTJ or ENTP often perform well in this style of livestreaming—quick thinkers, sharp communicators, and comfortable debating or exploring new angles on the fly. Remote applicants are welcome, though being based in NYC, Boston, or Providence is a plus.
What You’ll Do Each Week
Your main role will be to co-host our weekly livestream across three or more major platforms. You’ll help shape scientific segments, provide analysis through an evolutionary lens, and bring humor and relatability to every discussion. You’ll also collaborate with the existing hosts on planning, structuring episodes, and refining the show’s tone and direction.
