Preparing something amazing for you!
It’s been an interesting journey both professionally and personally to be where I am today. Along the way, I’ve been a commercial fisherman/dock worker, lumberyard transporter, trash engineer (gotta love this terminology), adolescent group home counselor/family therapist, community outreach worker, private practice therapist, NLP hypnotist, school social worker, and an Orton-Gillingham literacy tutor. About 16 years ago I went through some “wake up” health issue moments….they have since been resolved, but make no mistake, I can empathize with many of my clients and understand what it takes to break old habits and create intrinsic new ones. Since then, I dove into the emerging field of Health and Well-being Coaching. Personally, I can’t sing or play any instruments, but I love music…all kinds….and I really love when I people introduce me to unfamiliar artist. Other passions include cooking, swimming,, actually water play of any kind is cool….x-country skiing on a beach….and then returning to a comforting fire….biking…tennis…pickleball…..working out to music or netflix….hiking….obsessions with the Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and the Patriots for over 50 years…. My Vegetable garden….the Florida Keys ….eating out and discovering new restaurants….learning via workshops or courses…Ann Rice…James Clavell…..Hammock naps…and listening about other peoples professions.
I'm all about building trust and creating a space where you can really dig deep. But here's what I've learned: true growth has to come from YOU. You can set goals all day long, but if they're based on what someone else thinks you should do - even if they mean well or the research backs it up - those goals won't stick if they don't fit your life and values. When we work together, you'll get straight talk, real strategies, and my full support. Plus, we're going to have some laughs along the way - because if you're not having fun while working on yourself, what's the point?
